A St. Patrick’s Day Toast

MAY THOSE WHO love us, love us.
For those who don’t love us, may God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn’t turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles,
So we may know them by their limping.

Everyone’s Irish for a day, today (and thank God for that, my Irish neighbor would say)! Happy St. Paddy’s Day, Adan!

      • yoga-adan says:

you bet! and my wife thanks you for your post from both her irish and french halves of her heart ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. char says:

Love this quote! May no one you meet today be limping.

    • Matthew Iden says:

Lol! Thanks, Char. A good friend of mine actually has a pillow with this saying cross-stitched on it, if you can believe it. He’s also fond of another Irish saying that I agree with:

“Never ruin a good story with the truth.”

May you meet no one limping today or any day!
