Audiobook for A Reason to Live reviewed in AudioFile magazine

AudioFile_coverI’ve been remiss in not letting you know that the audiobook for A Reason to Live was recently reviewed in AudioFile magazine, the leading outlet for everything audiobook.

With quotes like “Narrator Lloyd Sherr deftly portrays the fury of police officers when one of their own gets away with murder…” I was more than happy with the review!

Physically, the magazine is a gorgeous glossy that stacks up against any publication on the newsstand, but they also do a tremendous job with the digital version, as well. The articles are interesting, since they come from both the content (author) and production (narrator and studio) sides. If you like audiobooks you owe it to yourself to grab a copy and possibly a subscription…it’s bi-monthly and a steal at just $19.95.

Indie Showcase
For indie authors, they also have a special advertising section, the Indie Showcase, that shows up nicely in the front of the magazine–not buried on page 60–and includes a decent-sized cover shot, a blurb, the info about your audiobook, and a direct link (in the digital version, of course, although there’s also a QR code in both editions) of your choice of targets. A Reason to Live is advertised in this issue. 🙂

While there are hundreds of outlets to advertise ebooks, there are next to none (that I can find) that specialize in audiobooks, so finding a helpful and responsive promotional partner in AudioFile (including editor-in-chief Robin Whitten) has been a real boon.
